Since last few days, many people reported that their e-gold account was blocked. Since then, I received a lot of phishing email from e-gold.

The latest email I received was around 4 hours ago. Here some of the text in the email:

Access to your e-gold account has been temporarily disabled due to suspicious activity, which is related to “HYIP” websites. This has been done to secure our system.

The funny thing, it also include this:

 Account access will remain disabled until this issue will be solved. If you are the rightful holder of the account, please click on the title bellow and log in to your e-gold account

Please note that the link is actually linked to other site which is not owned by e-gold Also please note that if your e-gold account blocked, the real e-gold will never send you any email. So if you get any email from e-gold saying that your account was blocked, it most likely a phishing email. E-gold will never include any links in their email. If you click the link and enter your account number and password, you may probably will lost your account balance.

This is how people steal your money. Please keep your account save and sound. You can’t blame anybody if you lost your money. Check more about e-gold consumer alert.
